𝐓𝐈𝐆𝐒𝐈𝐊 𝐊𝐎!: Writing and Performing On the spot Competition
In celebration of BALAOG 2021, this activity will let you share your writing skills and poetry recital through making a Tigsik which will be dedicated to any topic related to Culture, people and way of living of Bulaenos.
a. The activity is open to all Bulaeños.
b. The contestants must be a bona fide resident of BULA ONLY.
c. All participants/artist/contestants must be 15 to 30 years old.
d. Fill out the Registration Form on or before August 16, 2021, 5:00 PM via https://forms.gle/3hKDPv1gqcuokV6G8 or;
e. Go to the Municipal Hall Covered Court to register personally and fill out all forms.
f. By signing the Registration Form, the entrants agree to abide by the Rules of the Competition and Guidelines, and by the decision of the panel of judges.
a. The contest is open to all interested individuals within the municipality of Bula who are 15 to 30 years of age, may they be professional or amateur.
b. There will be a pre-registration to determine the contestants of the event.
c. On the day of the competition, each participant shall bring their own ball- point pens and will be provided with bond papers where they will write their entries.
d. Each participant is allowed to be given one (1) hour to write and submit only one (1) original tigsik composition. Such original tigsik entries shall be written in the dialect mainly used in Bula which is Rinconada.
e. The tigsik shall revolve around the theme, “Suanoy: Featuring the Cultural Heritage and Natural Resources of Bula“
f. The following format shall be followed by the participants:
There shall be 2-4 lines per stanza, ranging from 5-6 stanzas
A title must be provided for each composition
The piece should have the properties of humor and satire, which may or may not rhyme.
g. Identifying marks such as name, address, and contact details should be written in the registration forms and not anywhere in the entry. Only the corresponding numbers assigned to each participant shall be written at the top right portion of the paper. (This is to assure the participants that their pieces will be judged fairly.)
h. Non-compliance with the set guidelines will result to automatic disqualification.
i. The judge’s decision is final and irrevocable.
