Confirmed Cases of COVID-19 recorded in Bicol Region
As of July 17, 2020 (8PM), confirmed cases of COVID-19 recorded in Bicol Region are two hundred fifty-eight (258).
Six (6) new recoveries were recorded today. Active cases are one hundred thirty- eight (138).
List of recoveries:
Bicol#123 – 27-year old male from Legazpi City, Albay.
Bicol#125 – 32-year old male from Legazpi City, Albay.
Bicol#126 – 19-year old female from Naga City, Camarines Sur.
Bicol#127 – 24-year old female from Naga City, Camarines Sur.
Bicol#128 – 32-year old male from Naga City, Camarines Sur.
Bicol#142 – 64-year old male from Donsol, Sorsogon.
On test results received
A total of two hundred forty-five (245) test results were received today. Two hundred thirty-one (231) are from Bicol Regional Diagnostic and Reference Laboratory (BRDRL) while fourteen (14) are from Bicol Medical Center (BMC).
Of the 245 test results, fourteen (14) are positive, as reported earlier.

Breakdown of 231 negative results:
Albay – 42, BRTTH – 23, BMC – 14 , Camarines Sur – 29, Catanduanes – 18, Masbate – 49, Sorsogon – 10, and Legazpi CHO – 46.
On probable and suspect cases
Bicol Region has two (2) suspects – one (1) from Albay, and one (1) in Catanduanes. The one (1) probable case in Bicol is from Albay.

DOH CHD-Bicol reminds the public that the Community Quarantine is still in effect, thus, guidelines and directives must be complied with. Staying in our homes and following preventive measures against COVID-19 are the simplest yet helpful acts which everyone can contribute in minimizing the spread of COVID-19 in the community.
