Confirmed Cases of COVID-19 recorded in Bicol Region
As of July 21, 2020, confirmed cases of COVID-19 recorded in Bicol Region are two hundred eighty-eight (288).
Nine (9) new recoveries have been recorded today. Total number of recoveries in Bicol Region is now one hundred forty-one (141). Active cases are one hundred thirty-nine (139).

Bicol#161 – 25-year old female from Presentacion, Camarines Sur.
Bicol#162 – 29-year old male from Naga City.
Bicol#163 – 67-year old female from Naga City.
Bicol#165 – 60-year old female from Naga City.
Bicol#180 – 26-year old female from Ragay, Camarines Sur.
Bicol#181 – 85-year old male from Del Gallego, Camarines Sur.
Bicol#182 – 25-year old male from Sipocot, Camarines Sur.
Bicol#183 – 34-year old male Lupi, Camarines Sur.
Bicol#187 – 55-year old female from Sipocot, Camarines Sur.
On test results received
A total of two hundred sixty-nine (269) test results were received today. Two hundred twenty-four (224) are from Bicol Regional Diagnostic and Reference Laboratory (BRDRL) while forty-five (45) are from Bicol Medical Center (BMC).
Of the 269 test results, eight (8) are new positive while one (1) is a repeat test.

Breakdown of 260 negative results:
Albay PHO – 85, BRTTH – 18, BMC – 41, BRGHGMC – 4, Camarines Sur – 46, Catanduanes – 12, Sorsogon – 11, and CESU Legazpi- 43.
On probable and suspect cases
Bicol Region has seven (7) suspects – two (2) from Albay, four (4) from Catanduanes and one (1) from Masbate. The one (1) probable case in Bicol is from Albay.
Appeal to Public
DOH CHD-Bicol reminds the public that the Community Quarantine is still in effect, thus, guidelines and directives must be complied with. Staying in our homes and following preventive measures against COVID-19 are the simplest yet helpful acts which everyone can contribute in minimizing the spread of COVID-19 in the community.
