Confirmed Cases of COVID-19 recorded in Bicol Region
As of July 22, 2020, confirmed cases of COVID-19 recorded in Bicol Region are three hundred two (302).
Two (2) new recoveries have been recorded today. Total number of recoveries in Bicol Region is now one hundred forty-three (143). Active cases are one hundred fifty-one (151).
List of recoveries:
Bicol#191 – 43-year old male from Pilar, Sorsogon.
Bicol#192 – 36-year old female from Pilar, Sorsogon.
On test results received
A total of two hundred seventy-nine (279) test results were received today. Two hundred thirty-eight (238) are from Bicol Regional Diagnostic and Reference Laboratory (BRDRL) while forty-one (41) are from Bicol Medical Center (BMC).
Of the 279 test results, fourteen (14) are new positive while three (3) are repeat test.

Breakdown of 262 negative results:
Albay PHO – 58, BRTTH – 28, BMC – 21, Camarines Sur – 39, Catanduanes – 37, Sorsogon – 5, CESU Legazpi- 37 and CESU Naga – 37.
On probable and suspect cases
Bicol Region has three (3) suspects – two (2) from Albay, and one (1) from Masbate. The one (1) probable case in Bicol is from Albay.
On the 14 new cases today, five (5) are from Camarines Sur and five (5) from Naga city.

DOH CHD-Bicol reminds the public that the Community Quarantine is still in effect, thus, guidelines and directives must be complied with. Staying in our homes and following preventive measures against COVID-19 are the simplest yet helpful acts which everyone can contribute in minimizing the spread of COVID-19 in the community.
