Confirmed Cases of COVID-19 recorded in Bicol Region

As of July 23, 2020, confirmed cases of COVID-19 recorded in Bicol Region are three hundred twenty (320).

On Recoveries

Eight (8) new recoveries have been recorded today. Total number of recoveries in Bicol Region is now one hundred fifty-one (151). Active cases are one hundred sixty-one (161).
List of recoveries:
Bicol#124 – 43-year old female from Legazpi City.
Bicol#151 – 1-year old male from Virac, Catanduanes.
Bicol#155 – 23-year old male from Legazpi City.
Bicol#179 – 32-year old male from Legazpi City.
Bicol#188 – 20-year old female from Virac, Catanduanes.
Bicol#189 – 22-year old female from Virac, Catanduanes.
Bicol#190 – 23-year old male from Legazpi City.
Bicol#205 – 2-year old male from Virac, Catanduanes.

On test results received

A total of two hundred ninety two (292) test results were received today. Two hundred thirty six (236) are from Bicol Regional Diagnostic and Reference Laboratory (BRDRL) while fifty-six (56) are from Bicol Medical Center (BMC).

Breakdown of 272 negative results:
Albay PHO – 17, BRTTH – 39, BMC – 37, Camarines Norte – 33, Camarines Sur – 27, Masbate – 75, Sorsogon – 15, CESU Legazpi- 20 and CESU Naga – 9.

On probable and suspect cases
Bicol Region has three (3) suspects – two (2) from Albay, and one (1) from Catanduanes. The one (1) probable case in Bicol is from Albay.

Appeal to Public
DOH CHD-Bicol reminds the public that the Community Quarantine is still in effect, thus, guidelines and directives must be complied with. Staying in our homes and following preventive measures against COVID-19 are the simplest yet helpful acts which everyone can contribute in minimizing the spread of COVID-19 in the community.
