As of July 29, 2020, confirmed cases of COVID-19 recorded in Bicol Region are four hundred twenty-two (422). Active cases are two hundred fifty (250).

Additional details on death of Bicol#351
Bicol#351, a 40-year old Filipino female from Naga City died due to Septic shock secondary to covid critical non healing wound.
She died yesterday, July 28, 2020 at 3:00 o’clock in the afternoon.
On test results received
A total of two hundred eighty-five (285) test results were received today. All are from Bicol Regional Diagnostic and Reference Laboratory (BRDRL).
Of the 285 test results, twenty-one (21) are new positive while one (1) is for repeat collection. One death (1) has also been recorded today.
Breakdown of 263 negative results:
Albay PHO – 50, BRTTH – 16, BMC – 38, BRGHGMC – 4, Bicol Access – 1, Camarines Sur – 29, Catanduanes – 26, Masbate – 68, and CESU Legazpi- 31.
On probable and suspect cases
The one (1) probable case and one (1) suspect case are from Albay.
Erratum
Bicol#389, a 52-year old male from Naga City who was reported positive yesterday, July 29, 2020, is a bank messenger, not a bank manager.
Appeal to Public
DOH CHD-Bicol reminds the public that the Community Quarantine is still in effect, thus, guidelines and directives must be complied with. Staying in our homes and following preventive measures against COVID-19 are the simplest yet helpful acts which everyone can contribute in minimizing the spread of COVID-19 in the community.
