Confirmed Cases of COVID-19 recorded in Bicol Region

As of July 30, 2020, confirmed cases of COVID-19 recorded in Bicol Region are four hundred thirty-two (432).

On Recoveries

A total of 32 recoveries have been reported by LGUs to RESU today. Active cases are two hundred twenty-seven (227).

On test results received

A total of three hundred one (301) test results were received today. Two hundred eighty-seven (287) are from Bicol Regional Diagnostic and Reference Laboratory (BRDRL) while fourteen (14) are from Bicol Medical Center (BMC).

Of the 301 test results, ten (10) are new positive, one (1) is a repeat test, and one (1) invalid. One (1) death has also been recorded today.

Breakdown of 289 negative results:
Albay PHO – 76, BMC – 20, Camarines Sur – 54, Catanduanes – 23, Masbate – 9, Sorsogon – 25, CESU Legazpi- 57 and Naga CESU – 25.

On probable and suspect cases

The one (1) probable case and one (1) suspect case are from Albay.

Appeal to Public

DOH CHD-Bicol reminds the public that the Community Quarantine is still in effect, thus, guidelines and directives must be complied with. Staying in our homes and following preventive measures against COVID-19 are the simplest yet helpful acts which everyone can contribute in minimizing the spread of COVID-19 in the community.
