Confirmed Cases of COVID-19 recorded in Bicol Region
As of August 7, 2020, confirmed cases of COVID-19 recorded in Bicol Region are six hundred nineteen (619).
Thirty – six (36) new cases, one (1) death, and eight (8) recoveries have been recorded today.
Eight (8) recoveries have been reported by LGUs to RESU today. Active Cases are three hundred forty-two (342).
Bicol#294 – 73-year old male from Legazpi City Albay.
Bicol#300 – 21-year old female from Guinobatan, Albay.
Bicol#330 – 15-year old male from Matnog, Sorsogon.
Bicol#331 – 39-year old female from Matnog, Sorsogon.
Bicol#332 – 21-year old male from Matnog, Sorsogon.
Bivol#333 – 16-year old male from Matnog, Sorsogon.
Bicol#334 – 23-year old female from Matnog, Sorsogon.
Bicol#394 – 22-year old male from Polangui, Albay.
Note: Recoveries not reported to Regional Epidemiology and Surveillance Unit (RESU) are not included in the daily report.
On test results received
A total of four hundred fifty-eight (458) test results were received today. Three hundred eighty-two (382) are from Bicol Regional Diagnostic and Reference Laboratory (BRDRL) while seventy-six (76) are from Bicol Medical Center (BMC).
Of the 458 test results, thirty-six (36) are new positive, one (1) is repeat test, while one (1) invalid.
Breakdown of 420 negative results:
Albay PHO -136, BRTTH – 32, BMC – 34, Camarines Norte – 9, Camarines Sur – 41, Catanduanes – 15, Masbate – 99, Legazpi CESU – 27, Naga CESU – 22, NICC – 2 and USI – 3.
